The Underdog's House
My name is Koby Keene, and I am the founder of UGI Studios. And Head Developer of Zip-It 'N Ship-It. In Alabama, we don’t get handed success; we have to dig it out of the dirt.
The Survival
I grew up in a world that tries to erase people like me. I lost my mother and my best friend to the same addiction that nearly claimed me. I spent nine years homeless, caught eight felonies, and saw the absolute bottom of human existence from the inside of a rehab bed.
I’m not supposed to be here. I’m not supposed to own a home, and I’m definitely not supposed to run a tech company. But I do. I spent two years rebuilding my life from a pile of glass and ash, proving that a shattered man can become a pillar if he’s got enough grit.
The Grind
In October, the floor fell out again. I lost my job while serving as the primary caregiver and legal proxy for my girlfriend, who is battling Stage 5 Kidney Disease. While the state was sending me denial letters and the clinics were playing games with her life, I realized that nobody was coming to save us.
I had to build my own lifeline.
I spent the next four months in a code-induced fever dream. While sitting in hospital waiting rooms and dialysis clinics, I taught myself TypeScript and built API pipelines from scratch. I fought through hundreds of vendor rejections and late-night system crashes to build Zip-It 'N Ship-It—a fully automated, AI-driven logistics machine.
I didn’t build this because it was a "good business opportunity." I built it because I refused to let my family drown.
The Promise
We are a high-speed bridge for artists, streamers, and podcasters. Because of the custom engine I built, we are able to offer 3 to 7 business day shipping on the majority of our domestic products.
